Relocation of the Knauf plant from Germany to Ukraine

SM Industry is proud to deliver one of its most ambitious
industrial relocation projects to date — the full
dismantling and relocation of a Knauf production plant
from Germany to Ukraine. As part of this large-scale
project, SM Industry successfully completed the first stage:
the complete dismantling of the existing Knauf plant in
Germany, including the careful disassembly of high-value
process equipment, steel structures, utility systems and
supporting infrastructure. Each piece of equipment was
meticulously marked, documented, packed and prepared for
safe transportation to its new location in Ukraine. The
relocation process involves not only the physical transfer
of equipment but also the detailed planning of logistics,
customs clearance and coordination of multiple specialist
teams across two countries. SM Industry manages every
step of the project — from on-site dismantling and
packaging, through heavy transport and delivery, to
reassembly and commissioning in the new facility. Thanks
to the expertise and dedication of SM Industry’s engineers,
project managers and skilled technical crews, the entire
relocation process is carried out safely, efficiently and on
schedule, minimising downtime and maximising the
long-term value of the relocated assets.
