Installation of Power Generators

SM Industry successfully delivered and installed four
generator sets (each consisting of a 90-ton engine and a
35-ton generator) for the energy facility Termoficare
Oradea in Romania. The project involved complex heavy
equipment handling, precise positioning, and coordination
with other contractors at a site still under construction.
The main challenge was executing precise installation
inside a building under development, which required
tailored access solutions and synchronization of multiple
lifting and positioning systems. A detailed Work Execution
Plan (WEP) was prepared beforehand, and each team
member was thoroughly briefed before operations.
